Is GFN your jam? Go for it.

Yeah I called out a couple people today who were proclaiming stadia was dead etc but turn around and act like gfn is the second coming of Christ.

Is GFN your jam? Go for it.

If that service works for you, awesome. Go for it. Be happy. That's the free market's beauty. And hey... I'm pretty sure there's a sub for that where you can discuss it with others. I know the comparisons are inevitable, but this is getting ridiculous. Constructive criticism is one thing. And...

Phil Harrison: Free Stadia arriving within "months"

I honestly wonder how Stadia will handle Destiny 2. For all I understood, it went Free To Play a while ago. I guess latest by Stadia Base arrival, we therefor will know how it’s handled. Although I have to believe you can just play F2P titles even with base.

How does google keep enough horsepower available to all of us to play.....

Got it I also assumed that there must be more than 1 user per rack as it's a server rack like you said... But still how do they keep up with the user to vm ratio obviously they don't have extra racks lying around to add as the demand grows.... I understand its similar to AWS in the very basic...

How does google keep enough horsepower available to all of us to play.....

Love the service and a believer in stadia.... So I tried searching here and on google also but couldn't find an detailed explanation on how all of this works. So I believe stadia allots a rack to each individual who starts a game and blocks it to them till they play. I also get it they...

    Thoughts of a Stadia user

The fact that you can basically play console games on your phone or potato computer. It works and it's so simple to use. I literally start it up and in the game playing within like 20 to 30 seconds. Also I like the potential it has to bring back couch co op, and having the power of the cloud...

Do you think Stadia will have to invest in new hardware this year due the new incoming next gen consoles?

The rush is because *today* Stadia is behind consoles that came out a couple of years ago (despite us being told it would be far more powerful than those consoles). In a year, Stadia will be even further behind once the new Xbox and Playstation are out. Stadia's graphics and performance are...

How is stadia supposed to compete with series X and ps5?

But how many people do you know who don’t play games that know what stadia is?

How is stadia supposed to compete with series X and ps5?

I just have my doubts about exactly how many people there are that are so casual that they don't want dedicated hardware but are hardcore enough to want to play the sorts of games that sell consoles. I don't see the average Candy Crusher being all that interested in the latest Souls-like, for...

Sorry if I’m a bit out of the loop on this one, but why is Destiny 2 not Free-To-Play on Stadia?

I don't think this is a 'for the time being' kind of situation. F2P games on Stadia are unlikely, as they would be renting out hardware for free. I doubt to ever see F2P for Base. To be fair, games likes Fortnite would make an absolute boatload of money, so that could probably work. But then...

Honest Opinion: Do you think, that Stadia can/will coexist just fine with PC Gaming and Consoles?

In few years a lot can change. Game library will grow and exclusives Stadia and new features. Hardware will be limitation for what can be implemented in consoles etc while streaming dont really have that limit. They can upgrade what ever and whenever they want. I dont buy games on stadia now as...

Honest Opinion: Do you think, that Stadia can/will coexist just fine with PC Gaming and Consoles?

I think consoles will always be a thing. Like my Nintendo switch, there's something about grabbing it and just turning the screen on no matter where I am and not needing a wifi connection. I started out on the OG Gameboy. And I have a thing for holding shit I guess. I think theirs room for all...

Honest Opinion: Do you think, that Stadia can/will coexist just fine with PC Gaming and Consoles?

Absolutely! This is a good perspective. I'm hopeful that stadia will upgrade their servers and hardware components to compete against the xbox x. Load times are already phenomenal, now if the graphics could be enhanced I'd love a good native 4k

My opinion on stadia as a day 1 player.

Stadia has worked for me since the very first day. Extremely easy setup. No issues. Whether it was CCU/TV or Chromebooks or PC. For the initial setup. That is because I already had 2.4ghz and 5ghz WiFi already separates I had my dns set to googles and I have no data cap mixed with 1gb internet...

Will Google add more powerful server hardware for Stadia Pro users, to enable play at 4K 60fps for all games?

Impossible on current Stadia hardware. Ask yourself, if a sufficiently high level of optimization were possible, why do PC users need expensive RTX 2080 / 2080 Ti GPUs to play at 4k?
