Hey Google! take my Gaming Data and sell it...as long as I get ads to games/accessories I like

My thinking was that the actual game developers could also be the ones creating the surveys so they can see first hand how games like they’re game. Or instead of a survey maybe a short opinion piece about they’re play time or something. I just want to make sure that Google shares information...

Does the Stadia controller have Gyroscopic Tech?

It’s a big deal on the switch. Gyro aiming. People swear by it for FPS games on switch. I know my gf is a beast with a bow and arrow in botw with gyro controls.

Also decreases the amount of input and upload to the servers, minor but interesting

You can sign up for the wait just, usually takes a couple of weeks before you get an invite. https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/products/geforce-now/waitlist/ I use both on my shield and my windows PC.

Stadia got me interested in stream gaming, i just bought a shield tv box with ge force now and its amazing

Shield works great here, but that's probably because I live near (or, not so far from) a server. I tried PlayStation Now and despite my fiber 100 mbs+ connection, the lag was quite bad as the servers were all in distant North America. So before trying any of these services, check if the company...

Stadia got me interested in stream gaming, i just bought a shield tv box with ge force now and its amazing

I've had the opposite experience. I don't have a shield but streaming via GeForce now was unplayable and just a poor experience all around. Long start up times, crappy desktop app, glitchy and massive input lag despite good ping/packet loss. Project stream worked great.

    Gatekeeping

I think it was calculated with the existing data we have on how much data Stadia uses that you'll get somewhere over 130 hours of gaming with a 1tb data cap but Google said the calculations were wrong due to compression and other things.

Showing off your Stadia Pro pre-order is just as much tribalism as flexing owning a PS4 or Xbox One. There's so much tribalism on this subreddit that it feels choking at times.

Top 5 Reasons I am switching from PS4 to Stadia

connection has to be at least 250mbit and more (roughly calculated 50mbit rounded up per player x 4 + netflix + other stuff happening. I wouldn't go lower than 300mbit for sure.

Chances for Nintendo cooperating with Google

Cloud-Computing IMHO is the future of gaming, thats pretty much an undeniable fact - whether that future is in 1 month or in 2 years... we'll see soon. So what are the options for nintendo here? 1. They could deny that "fact" until it's too late and continue creating their own consoles and...

Founder's edition is here to stay, for a while anyway.

Google underestimates it's demand a lot! I wouldn't be surprised if Stadia Founder is cut off within the next couple of weeks lol

Information about Stadia and answers to a lot of concerns out there

You will get a game every month as long as you have Pro. If you switch to base for a month as example, you will not get the game, coming out for Pro that month. If you then switch back to Pro, you will have access to all the pro games again except the one you missed in the one month of Base.

Information about Stadia and answers to a lot of concerns out there

I have been surprised how much interest this soon. Usually developers wait as they are making an investment. They must be very confident on the success of Stadia to make the investment. We are months out and here is the list confirmed as of a month ago. I would never have guessed there...

Dear internet, Stadia is a console, NOT A PC.

Stadia games (like RDR for example) would definitely be easier to port from a console version because Stadia doesn't support DirectX, but uses Vulcan instead, which is similar to the PS4 graphics API. My main annoyance with people thinking Stadia is similar to the PC is that they are going to...

Dear internet, Stadia is a console, NOT A PC.

EDIT: welp, this post is getting downvoted a lot. I guess I'll just use this as an "I told you so"-post at some point in the future.FWIW the point of this post above all is to **curb expectations**, not to tell you what you want to hear. So watching StadiaCast yesterday I learned with some...
